Job Description
A well-established 400-bed hospital in Florida is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment. The facility handles a diverse range of orthopedic cases, including trauma, joint replacement, and sports-related injuries. You will work in a state-of-the-art Level II Trauma Center, providing critical care to a high-volume patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fractures, and arthroscopic procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage both inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Provide post-operative care and consultations, with a focus on trauma and sports medicine.
- Participate in a rotating call schedule for orthopedic trauma cases.
Program Details:
- Annual Patient Volume: 55,000 patients per year.
- Shift Options: 6a-3p, 9a-6p, 12p-9p, 3p-12a, 5p-2a, 10p-7a.
- EMR System: Medictech.
- Scribe Coverage: Yes, allowing you to focus on patient care.
- Licensing & Credentialing: Full support, including malpractice coverage.
