A high-performing 300-bed hospital in Arizona is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage. The facility manages a mix of elective and trauma cases, providing care for both urban and rural populations. You will work in a collaborative, well-equipped surgical center that values precision and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform elective and trauma orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, sports injuries, and fracture repairs.
- Provide follow-up care, rehabilitation consultations, and post-surgical evaluations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, to ensure optimal patient recovery.
- Participate in a rotating call schedule for emergency orthopedic cases.
Program Details:
- Annual Patient Volume: 50,000 patients per year.
- Shift Options: Flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available.
- EMR System: Cerner.
- Scribe Coverage: Yes, to assist with documentation.
