Job Description

A leading women’s health facility in Tennessee is in need of a skilled OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. You will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including high-risk pregnancies and routine gynecological care, in a modern, fully equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prenatal care, perform deliveries, and handle gynecological surgeries, including C-sections and laparoscopic procedures.
  • Manage a mix of high-risk obstetric cases and routine gynecologic care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, midwives, and neonatologists.
  • Participate in the hospital’s OB/GYN call rotation for emergency cases.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 45,000 patients per year.
  • Shift Options: 8-12 hour shifts with flexible scheduling options.
  • EMR System: Cerner.
  • Scribe Coverage: Yes, available for efficient documentation.
  • Housing & Travel: Full travel and lodging covered.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Assistance provided, with malpractice insurance coverage.
