An esteemed 300-bed hospital in Texas is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician to join their Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a locum tenens basis. This Level II Trauma Center provides exceptional care to a diverse population of critically ill patients, supported by a collaborative team and advanced medical technology.
Key Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Manage critically ill patients in ICU settings with complex, life-threatening conditions
- Perform and oversee advanced life-support and invasive critical care procedures
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary critical care teams
- Monitor patient progression and adjust care plans as clinically indicated
- Communicate clearly with families regarding patient status and prognosis
