An esteemed 300-bed hospital in Texas is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician to join their Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a locum tenens basis. This Level II Trauma Center provides exceptional care to a diverse population of critically ill patients, supported by a collaborative team and advanced medical technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex ICU cases, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Perform critical bedside procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, and other specialists in a high-acuity environment.
- Lead daily rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making.
Program Details:
- Annual Patient Volume: 60,000 patients per year.
- Shift Options: Flexible 12-hour day and night shifts.
- EMR System: Meditech.
- Scribe Coverage: Available to support patient documentation.
