An advanced 300-bed hospital in Tennessee is seeking a Critical Care Physician to join their ICU team on a locum tenens basis. This Level II Trauma Center sees a diverse range of critically ill patients and provides top-tier care with the help of a dedicated team and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Manage critically ill patients in ICU settings with complex, life-threatening conditions
- Perform and oversee advanced life-support and invasive critical care procedures
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary critical care teams
- Monitor patient progression and adjust care plans as clinically indicated
- Communicate clearly with families regarding patient status and prognosis
