A premier healthcare organization in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. You will work in a 400-bed hospital, providing anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical procedures. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient anesthesia services across general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric procedures.
- Perform preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
- Monitor patients during surgery, ensuring optimal sedation and pain management.
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure safe patient outcomes.
Program Details:
- Annual Patient Volume: 55,000 patients per year.
- Shift Options: 6a-3p, 9a-6p, 12p-9p, 3p-12a, 5p-2a, 10p-7a.
- Scribe Coverage: Available to streamline documentation.
- Trauma Center: Level II designation, handling a mix of trauma and elective cases.
- EMR System: Medictech.
- Housing & Travel: Provided along with licensing assistance and malpractice insurance.
