Job Description

A large healthcare facility in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team on a locum tenens basis. As part of a busy emergency department, you will treat a wide variety of cases, from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma, in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency care for acute illnesses and injuries, stabilizing trauma and critical care cases.
  • Work in a 25-bed Emergency Department with access to a dedicated trauma team.
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers and nurses to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care.
  • Manage a variety of cases, including trauma, cardiovascular emergencies, and infectious diseases.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 90,000 patients per year.
  • Patients Per Hour: 3–3.5 PPH.
  • Shift Options: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling.
  • EMR System: Epic.
  • Scribe Coverage: Yes, available for efficient documentation.
  • Housing & Travel: Full travel and lodging provided.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Complete support, including malpractice insurance.
