We’re seeking a Critical Care Physicians for an exciting locum tenens role at a 250-bed facility in North Carolina. This is a high-acuity ICU within a Level II Trauma Center, offering the chance to lead a dedicated team in managing critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Manage critically ill patients in ICU settings with complex, life-threatening conditions
- Perform and oversee advanced life-support and invasive critical care procedures
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary critical care teams
- Monitor patient progression and adjust care plans as clinically indicated
- Communicate clearly with families regarding patient status and prognosis
