Job Description

Join a dynamic ICU team at a top-tier hospital in Florida offering locum tenens coverage. The 400-bed facility includes a 30-bed ICU in a Level II Trauma Center. As a Critical Care Physician, you will manage a wide range of critically ill patients, providing life-saving interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, handling complex cases such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
  • Perform bedside procedures, including intubations, central line placements, and ventilator management.
  • Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, and other specialists to develop treatment plans.
  • Participate in daily patient rounds and provide leadership in clinical decision-making.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 55,000 patients per year.
  • Shift Options: 6a-3p, 9a-6p, 12p-9p, 3p-12a, 5p-2a, 10p-7a.
  • APC Coverage: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a.
  • Scribe Coverage: Yes, for efficient patient documentation.
  • EMR System: Medictech.
  • Housing & Travel: Full support provided for travel and lodging.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Assistance provided, along with malpractice insurance.
