Job Description

A prestigious healthcare organization in Arizona is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. The role includes providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgeries, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric cases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries across multiple specialties, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric surgeries.
  • Conduct preoperative evaluations, create individualized anesthesia plans, and manage postoperative recovery.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to ensure safe patient outcomes.
  • Participate in anesthesia call rotation for emergency cases.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 35,000 patients per year.
  • Shift Options: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts.
  • EMR System: NextGen.
  • Scribe Coverage: Yes, available to assist with documentation.
  • Housing & Travel: Full travel and lodging support.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Full assistance provided, including malpractice insurance.
