Job Description

A top-tier healthcare facility in Tennessee is seeking a Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist to join their team. You will provide anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures, from general surgery to obstetrics. This busy hospital offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and a collaborative surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric surgeries.
  • Conduct preoperative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring safe sedation and pain management.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 50,000 patients per year.
  • Shift Options: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available.
  • EMR System: Allscripts.
  • Scribe Coverage: Available to assist with documentation.
  • Housing & Travel: Comprehensive travel and lodging provided for the assignment.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Support provided, including malpractice insurance.
