Job Description

An advanced 400-bed hospital in Florida is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity. This position involves providing anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring safe and effective pain management.
  • Perform preoperative evaluations and create anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients during surgery, adjusting anesthetics as needed to ensure optimal sedation.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 55,000 patients per year.
  • Shift Options: 6a-3p, 9a-6p, 12p-9p, 3p-12a, 5p-2a, 10p-7a.
  • Scribe Coverage: Available for enhanced workflow and documentation support.
  • EMR System: Medictech.
  • Housing & Travel: Full travel and lodging covered.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Support provided, along with comprehensive malpractice insurance.
