Job Description
A premier surgical center in North Carolina is looking for an Anesthesiologist to join their operating room on a locum tenens basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist who enjoys working in a high-tech, patient-focused environment, handling a range of surgeries from general to orthopedic and obstetric procedures.
Primary Duties:
- Administer anesthesia for surgeries in multiple specialties, ensuring safe sedation and pain management.
- Perform preoperative evaluations and design individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Monitor patients throughout surgery, adjusting anesthesia levels to optimize safety and comfort.
Program Details:
- Annual Patient Volume: 35,000 patients per year.
- EMR System: NextGen.
- Shift Options: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available.
- Scribe Coverage: Yes, to assist with documentation.
- Housing & Travel: Fully covered for the duration of the assignment.
