A surgical center in Indiana is seeking a Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist to provide expert anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases. This dynamic facility handles a broad range of specialties, offering both elective and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia for surgeries across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, general, and obstetric procedures.
  • Conduct preoperative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Monitor patient responses during surgery, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Program Details:

  • Annual Patient Volume: 40,000 patients per year.
  • Shift Options: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available.
  • EMR System: NextGen.
  • Scribe Coverage: Available to assist with documentation.
  • Housing & Travel: Travel and lodging covered during the assignment.
  • Licensing & Credentialing: Full support, including malpractice coverage.
