A premier healthcare organization in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. You will work in a 400-bed hospital, providing anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical procedures. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient anesthesia services across general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics.
Key Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and develop individualized Anesthesia care plans
- Administer general, regional, and local Anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological status throughout procedures
- Manage airway, pain control, and perioperative complications
- Provide post-Anesthesia care and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative teams
